It's a "Dyad" one part wood, one part metal, meeting together in the middle to form a whole?

Drawn from scratch in OpenCanvas with a wacom tablet (graphire2) Started in Jan 07, finished in Sep 07.

I know right?! (egotistical response is totally allowed, I spent far too long on this one.)

I recommend downloading it, and looking for the engraving on one of the bits of metal, it's not super clear, because the downloaded version is still only 50% of original size, but it's still there!

Oooh, just gorgeous! I love how intricate it looks, and how detailed it is! : D Great colors used, very colorful, yet simple at the same time! Gorgeously done... I love opencanvas works. : D :+fav:
I just wish I could have a closer view... D: That's my only complaint. :3

Oh, wow. Superbly detailed, and everything fits wonderfully together despite how much is going on with all the different elements of the picture, if that makes sense. The reddish tree branch and the curly bit of chain link fence are my favorites.

I can't seem to find the right words ......

but this has just utterly blown my mind away!! soft, and beautiful and gorgeous! looks like a mixture of paintings and found objects! and omg the detail *weeps from the incredible amount of detail* just amazing!
