this has been used as the base image to a poster to advertise gigs and the like for paqman, but for the most part, it's just bright and colourful and I like it.
Anton the antique robot is a creation of both me and the boys in paqman. Enjoy! <3
Pretty coloooooorrrs. The swirly orange smoke cloud is by far my favorite part. World needs more swirly orange smoke clouds. Of the non-pollutant type, mind you.
Buwee! I SO dig those colours. The neon-vagueness /shininess of the backdrop playing against the outlined-ness of the smoke- Excellent. Especially fun because smoke is usually the stuff that goes unlined, and buildings defined. Nice switch up!
haha, that was so very unintentional. I just didn't really want the buildings to clutter the image, and if they had lines, they'd seem as important as the robot?? (I don't really know...)
XD The Best things about a drawing are usually the most unintentional. Art school taught me to say "Yes. Yes I did that on purpose." and then feel smug.
Seriously though, that just shows what a great intuitive-ness-thing you have. Or something.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

bright neon backgrounds for the win!
Anton reminds me of a junk robot in my friend's garage. But Anton is a cooler name, we just call ours Mr. Roboto.
funny thing is that's the garage their band practices in.
